Terrakill? I am always looking for a better angle about things- Try to work beat the system at its own game.- Its the $$$ !! I am real-so are you. I can get ddm parts to my home in 3 days. Western union fees are somewhat high.- we do have moneygram- its fees are cheap.- This bypasses the credit cards-with there intrest rates- pypasses the pay-pal crap too. We should study this, the money both ways would arrive in seconds.- Then, there are the shipping costs- The united states postal service acctually looses money with there low shipping costs.-I had a somewhat bulky pipe shipped to me from Scotland- British Royal Mail- 40 usd.- pipe arrived here in 6 days.- costly.- I am just thinking -- I need stuff from FreePawn- small light weight parts- you need stuff from the states-- see what i am thinking?? -- its just a passing thought- where theres a will theres a way.

What eases my mind is that I know my money is paying wages and giving others a job. Even if the corporate guys get most of it, with out them most people would be unemployed.

Money needs to keep changing hands for a healthy economy. The more people in that chain, the more it helps. Wanting more for less is the greedy American way. If we all beat the system there would be no system.

I'm not bagging on ya Alfred, just showing another side of things. :)

Yes, I am in complete agreement with you. When I said beat the system, Its the credit card companies - loan shark intrest rates. The western union or moneygram is a angle to bypass this. There is still the shipping rates to contend with. I would really like to get a few sets of Blackstone gesrs- steel upper shock mounts over here- via freepawn racingUK. I beat the system big time -- example- I forsaw tru the internet the about to burst housing bubble. I made 1 electronic transfer of funds- my morgage lasted 1/2 hour. Odd that the biggest investment most people in America have- I own this "green acres " home outright. But do not have a title in my hands.- The greedy ones-they have this in safe keeping-- just in case the property taxes are not paid.- just saying--

40usd+6days = cheap and super fast service to me!

postage costs are never a problem because i think the postal services now days are bloody brilliant!! and cheap, beats traveling over seas to collect!

and i also don't mind paying higher prices if there is a good service behind it and to keep small buisnesses running.

but 70% over here provide a REALLY cruddy service if any atall, and overcharge by horrendus amounts +20%vat, its just not on and hardly fair.

i do think there is a big diffrence between making a very healthy profit and ripping people off

Gear plate(in UK) £75.98 - ($119.11)

VS

Gear Plate(in USA) $64.99 - (£41.46) - he must be making a profit at this price, or it would be more

thats a £34.52($54.12) diffrence, easly the postage cost covered if i order a part from usa, and thats just from 1 part :( , just makes me sad that theres no british shops i can happly give my money and walk away satisfiyed, id much preffer to send my money over seas.

ps, freeprawnracing are one of the few companys that supply a fantastic service, ive used them many times, i see what your saying alfed ;) but if anything ever went wrong there would be nothing to fall back on, if u know what i mean, :p i kinda like the system if it worked properly, and youd hate to have me chasing you if parts went missing (and i hate western union, everytime ive used them ive been scammed!!! cost me £400 once and i had nowere to turn and WU told me they cant do anything as the money has alrdy been taken)

I know how you feel. I paid almost twice as much for my XT that in the US. I upgraded my radio to a Flysky. Cost me $150 NZ. Could have purchased 2 in the us for the same price.
