pro shocks question

this may have already been anwsered before but i couldnt find it. will baja shock bottom screw into a pro shock? will these fit right in no mods?
 
No they wont. Measure your shafts and see how big they are, mine were 4mm. The 5mm upgrade will be fairly simple as far as I can tell.
 
i haven't had them apart yet do the have the same e clip problems as the other ones or is there a nut on the top of these

Those HPI parts are junk they are only as strong as the pressed on plastic end.


Get yourself a set of front shock kits from large scale that are Phatdad RTR baja they are titanium shafts and still run the bolt on shock end.

are they gonna fit the mt pro bodys? or do i buy baja shocks then put the kits in?
 
Have you bent one of the shocks yet? Ive yet to see any of the "pro" shocks messed up. Ive made it fairly rough on mine and they have held up fantastic. I will be trying the 5mm shafts on them if I ever do manage to bend the 4mm shafts in mine.


I agree with Sprint on the HPI stuff...its trash IMO

not yet. just want the parts on the shelf when i do, don't like waiting. so the 5mils are alright i take it?
