Hi there - a few things:
1. After you've tried to start the car - remove the plug - is it wet? Can you smell fuel?
2. Do you have a kill switch fitted - remove it - temporarily - try now.
3. Check all of the HT (high tension) connections - check this Forum how to check for spark.
4. It could also be 'the gap' to the flywheel - too close and it will jam, too far and the spark will be weak.

hey matey i cant add much more to what atoms said hes been here long time really knowladgable. So i will try help if i can from my experiences. What i noticed the other day with my touring car is i ran it for half an hour and then i slowed it down and the engine went off!!
One definate problem was the bodyshell not enough windows cut out so engine got too hot, also after it just would not start but as soon as i played around with the L needle i richend up the mix and boom the engine fired up, it took about 20 minutes of tinkering in small inriments to get it working fine.

but ya check everything atom said perfect advice, one thing i could add maybe buy a few spark plugs they are cheap when you think about it!! and you don't want a big electric shock if you get the testing of a spark plug wrong!!!!!!!! i drilled my finger trying to fix a servo its not worth it spend the money, sparks are cheap, but the test atom suggested is good if your experienced!!

is the carb bubble full or half full or empty?? these are all just tips ive learnt from this form :) love it. As Atom said kill switches can be a problem and indeed mine was causing it also where the battery connection was lose so it kept killing the engine.

how are you getting on did you fix it yet dude
