I haven't had any melting issues but I get the oil residue from the exhaust on my bodyanyone ever have any problems with the body melting or distorting from the exhaust on the MT
Premixed fuel will elliviate some of the oil residue, there's conflicting mix info material that comes with directions I use 25:1 premix ratio, only problem can't find 25:1 premix. Take 50:1 ratio then add same amount of plain fuel the ending ratio is 25:1.I haven't had any melting issues but I get the oil residue from the exhaust on my body
If you are using the standard Redcat tuned pipe it will warp your body. I made a mistake and bought one to replace the factory fart can and it only lasted a couple of runs anyway before cracking. Went ahead and bought a Dominator pipe and now I will have to cut the lower section as angryhungarian87 said.anyone ever have any problems with the body melting or distorting from the exhaust on the MT
I would get a DDM Dominator Pipe. You will be glad you did. You no longer have to worry about getting oil on the back if the truck and it increases low end torque and smoothes out the high end. A win win. You will still have to cut the body a little. So what's the best exhaust to use to avoid the melting problems? The catback can?
Added, this no melting, cutting or trimming and it slips into the straight pipe. works great looks good tooView attachment 13635 View attachment 13634
