PRODUCT BULLETIN: Damaged Servo Wiring Leads Found in Losi Desert Buggy XL (LOS05001) Products Purchased Before October 1, 2014

Horizon Hobby has been made aware of a possible issue with the routing of the servo wiring leads in Losi Desert Buggy XL (LOS05001) products purchased before October 1, 2014. There is a possibility that the throttle or steering servo leads may be incorrectly routed. Servo leads that are incorrectly routed may be chafed, pinched or frayed, which could result in damage to the vehicle.

Please see the product bulletin for the Losi Desert Buggy XL. Follow the steps in the Corrective Action section to check and reroute the wiring for the servos as necessary. If you discover damaged wiring, please fill out the Return Request Form as directed in the bulletin. After completing and submitting the return request form, Horizon Hobby will E-mail a shipping label for you to use to return the damaged servos. Once the servos have been returned, Horizon Hobby will repair the damaged leads and then mail the repaired servo back to you. Please allow 14–21 days for processing and delivery.

If you have questions or do not feel comfortable replacing the servos, or performing the steps in the bulletin, please call 800-338-4639 and ask for customer service. Customer Service hours are 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. CST, Monday through Friday.
