Since im still waiting for parts,i took the whole truck apart.And stripped,polished and painted [dangerous when i am bored].I painted the chassis Auto Air pearlized purple ,pictures do not do it justice.[Looks blue in the pics]. I know it will only look this way for the pics ,before i bash it,so i will take a bunch so i can look back and see it,lol
 
What chassis is that? It doesn't have the hole for the diff box like the v1/v2, it has 3 screws lenghtwise where the ib hole would be, And it doesn't have the droop screw tabs like the v3. What is that? Do you think the paint will last long?
 
Its a mt v3,and they have 3 pins instead of the hole for locating the diff.And no i don't expect it to last long on the outside or the bottom,thats why i will take lots of pictures.
 
I found your posted pics from when your truck was new. I see the 26cc sticker and the dual steering. I wonder if it was a factory boo boo. I got some arms recently that I thought were v3 but they didnt have the droop screw holes. Luckily I also have a v1/v2. The v3 5mm shock parts were released a while before news of the v3 even hit which causes confustion among some of us rebuilding v1/v2 shock. There were a few other parts that caused confusion but turned out in the long run too. I would find out what happened but it was probably and honest mistake if you got it new. I bought all the aluminum after i got the truck.

Just some more pics since i got it back together.I put vertigo bearings,cat5 cups,hpi swaybars[work great by the way],darksoul and hpi axle boots. etc etc. Next is to upgrade the servos but money is tight,and i havnt broken these yet.
