Hi all I am having problems with my pull start engaging the flywheel on my maverick blackout monster truck.


The flywheel is ok, so it must be the pull start ive stripped it and cleaned it and sprayed it with WD40. But still no luck.


So I will buy a new pull start, but no way am I gonna pay £50 for a genuine one, I would rather throw the MT in the bin. When you can buy one for a Baja and fg for £10.


Does anyone know if a Baja or FG one will work on the maverick blackout.. can anyone advise? or what replacement has anyone bought?
 
The pull starters are produced for the motors not the vehicles. They will fit. Just keep in mind sometimes you get what you pay for. There are some out there that are made from lower grade materials.
 
thanks guys. i will buy the cheaper one as i don't use my MT very much nowadays, and will probably sell it soon.
