hey guy's i've been anoyed by a problem wich i never had before and after buying around 4 pull starters i decide it's time to search for help my pull starters keep on failing on me, springs/ rope/ sometimes the whole thing just kreeps out on me!!


does anyone know a cheap solution to it???

What exactly is happening to your PS?

If you use it correctly, it should last a long time. Pull the first few inches out, until the pawl engages. Then pull hard to turn it over.

If you just pull and pull, the pawl will break and the rope will snap and the spring will wear out.

the core just breaks appart that's what happens most of the time

Sounds like you aren't letting the pawl engage first.

Fron what I understand, that power starter needs a quite powerful electric drill so it's not "plug'n'play".

the small 20 volt dewalt I use does a fine job. light weight and compact.
