My main pully on my belt drive started to slip today after about a tank..is this common?

Thought I blew my front diff or popped a drive line component.

No. Take the pulley off and inspect the flats on the clutch and or brake shaft. If they are rounded the set screws can't grab them. If they are rounded you can use the dremel to grind them flat. Make sure you loctite the set screws.
