Anyone have experience with Dan doing a paypal sale outside of his Ebay page? I am looking for personal experience here. I have never done it and don't like the sound of it; I haven't found any solid info stating I would have buyer protection. As long as I have buyer protection then I am good with it. I am taking into account the good things people have said about him too. So on a scale of 1 to 10, I am a 6 right now.
 
i deal with him once a week, no issues, outside of ebay, always comes thru and gives a better deal then what he has on ebay.
as for buyer protection your not going to get the ebay protection, thats a given with any outside transactions.
but if your wanting that then i suggest you buy thru ebay, you wont get the discount but you will have what your wanting

Don't forget you are on the biggest large scale forum in the world.If anything where to go wrong it'll be passed around like no-one's business and not do Dan too good.Won't get your money back though.

Dan is a very honest seller on and off ebay. If you have a problem, he will do his best to correct it. Nothing to worry about and like said, one bad word of him doing you wrong (Which he WONT do) would spread like wild fire.

Dan is Good, Dan is Trustable, buy your buggy/truck from him and you wont be disappointed......

Thanks Matt - I actually bought 2 from Dan.
 
you also forget if payin with paypal no matter if thru ebay or not PAYPAL has its own buyer protection . i once bought something not thru ebay, was scammed, on the deal, i filed dispute, and paypal returned my money. but with Dan you wont have that issue in first place, he's 100% legit, and trustworthy

thats how i did it with dan on my km t1000 2 speed..the truck went for 839.00 on ebay and i offered 739.00 he send me a message saying he would do 750.00 outside of ebay.i did it..man it was worth it!!gave me an upgraded pipe,all outerwears,and knobby wheels..and paid the shipping..i had it in two days through ups..went so well im buying the buggy now..man of his word!!

Very nice..... I am waiting (impatiently) on two buggies now... Should be here by Monday. He was asking 529 for the KM001, and I offered 475 he came back with the outside offer of 475, so I was thrilled. I can't wait to tear it down and re-seat all the screws with lock-tight and do the pre-run checklist. It's my first 5th - So I am re-reading all the posts explaining how to do things and look for issues if/when they arise.
 
i thought if you used pay pal you was covered? even without ebay...im 90% sure you will be covered if it didnt turn up!

we shouldnt talk to much about his dealings outside ebay, we don't want him to get in trouble lol,especially if he is risking doing it. just a thought.
i might use him in the future, i would go the cheaper option, almost £100 saving on a £800 truck ,thats good!
