cover up electronics..I have put servo's in a baloon before and tied off..worked ok ..
Not sure what esle you need to do for snow....AKA Slawhammer
 
I ran all my cars in the winter. My FG's used the black cone style filter cover ($20). This cover works well all year round. The pull starter should be fine as long as it covered with the body or an outerwears cover.

After running just use a heat gun or air compressor to get most of the snow/ice off and then just spray with wd40. (Instead of wd40 use the Canadian Tire version - it smells much better and less expensive)
 
Hell I bought mine for winter lol. track is closed for racing nitros but it is still great for 5th scales. I take a big floor squeegee to clear the puddles and give 'er.
