Q-Baja shorty air filter

Is there a shorter air filter for the shorty? I’m building mine from spare parts and the stock air filter doesn’t fit with the symmetrical steering setup. It hits the servo. Also seems kind of large in diameter and may interfere with the linkage. Haven’t got that far except just looking.

The kit comes with a filter mount, so if you have 1 that angles up, I think that would do it. I think some mounts are pretty flat.

I have the angled mount but a stock air filter still hits the steering servo. I don’t have the filter that comes with the kit. Can’t seem to find it online for sale either.

Spyder makes a short paper filter or maybe can you use the dt1 filter that has a slight angle to it also? Either way you will need the velocity stack too.
