question about break in?

hi...i just got a rampage mt for christmas and im wondering what the engine breaking is.


in the maunal it saids..according to volumetric ratio, measure a proper proportion of mixture. initally, the proportion of 1/20-1/25 of mixture is recommended for the engine to run for the first 8 hours. can anyone tell me what this mean.

It means you need to run a very rich fuel/oil mix 20:1 or 25:1 (i use 25;1) for the first few tanks. You also need (must) follow this list:

Its the mix of fuel and oil you need for the motor. 25 parts of fuel to 1 part oil = 5 oz of oil to 1 gallon of fuel

5 liters petrol : 200 Ml two cycle oil


Be sure to use quality two cycle oil

Its best to go to a motorcycle store and get a ratio rite cup.

HPI Z191 mini bottle pre meaured for 1/2 gallon mixing. Double it for a full gallon. I buy 2stroke oil at my hobby store and use Z191 for measuring. They are very cheap on Ebay if you type in "5b oil" they go for $3.50 and up. Some come with tool kits, or shock/air filter oil. Basically goodies from parted out 5t/b. Tower has them too but for almost $8. Id go ebay.


The side of it is marked in increments of 10cc.
