Question about parts in upgrade kit?

Are the diff gears, diff cases, and axles upgraded / stronger or just replacements?

The diff gears are supposed to be made of a stronger alloy and the pins are 1mm larger. The cases look the same as the stock ones. Also the outdrives are supposed to be of a better alloy and hardening process. I think this is what entails, but if I am wrong someone please speak up and let me know.

The gears aren't harder, they are upgraded for the larger pins. The axles are also modified for the larger pins.

the diff case has a bigger hole and grub screw to insert the bigger pin but is otherwise identicle, the wheel axles look exactly the same but have a bigger grub screw to fasten the hub pin. arems are the same...just boil them, bumpers have a couple of extra plastic ribs on the bottom and the springs are longer. Awesome value kit.


Rob...quick question re: the ramtech springs...how come the back ones aren't 10mm longer...are they originally for the 5b? it would be nice if the rears were longer.

Yes, they are the rears for the 5B. It was all we had in the begining. And I can't afford to run another custom spring just for the Rampage. You will love them anyway.

I do, i fitted them before I ran it....they are big improvement.
