Hello Everyone,
I have an engine zenoah G320RC tuned and etxreme clutch. I am building a 3D Printed RC car around them. So I have designed and made the gearbox and where the engine sits and is attached to the gearbox and to the floor of the car. So there is something happening. Because the gearbox structure is 3d printed and the floor cover is fiberglass made from a 3d printed mold, there is some slight errors in the dimensions like 0.1mm and maybe 0.2mm up to 0.5mm sometimes. So, if you see This video when I pull the starting cable and the engine rotates, also the gears are rotating which means the bell is rotating, so I inspect it and find out that the clutch shoes are slightly touching the bell. Now if I rotate the bell with my bare hands it rotates without any resistance from the clutch shoes, i don't feel any resistance. I would like to know please if you think that would let the gears rotates when I start the engine for real at idle rpm, or because there is higher force and speed of rotation, that will cause the clutch to rotates and surpass the slight friction on the clutch shoe which means the gears will stay neutral and not rotating ?

Thanks in advance :)

as doug said mate, introduce yer self and post some decent pics (y),

but, going off yer vid, theres a glaring issue from the get go,
your engine and bell carrier are not even braced against each other,
what i mean is your carrier looks to be just bolted to the chassis and so is the engine, but without any bracing/mounting between the two,
thats why your clutch catches the when you pull the engine over,
the engine is flexing and binding the clutch against the bell,
sort your bracing/mounts out and the bind will go away as long as the clutch and bell are spaced correct to start with (y)

thank you sooo much ! it seems that was the problem ! so to test it out, i designed a ring for it and 3d printed it and everything aligns now :D
no more friction between the clutch and bell ! so next I must make the ring from real fiberglass material !

glad my post helped firas (y) (y) ,
why not start a thread in the build threads section, from what you said in your introduction it seems this is gonna be a long term and complicated build and probably the best place for everyone to see the progress (y):)
