As the title suggests I am in the market for a MT

I have limited knowledge about these trucks. I've been around rc for about a year. I am however a decent wrench. That being said, on with the questions.

1# Are these trucks able to take a good beating?

2# What things can I expect to break, or what things are prone to breakage?

3# What are must have upgrades before you start bashing?

Thank you in advance!

greetings,

#1 yes, most things are a result of pilot error. trees, post, walls and most stationary objects can dismember, add speed and it only gets worse

#2 drive line, diff cups (get the sleeves!) suspension out drives, shock parts and all the decoration you add to it

#3 its kinda ready to go!...MT comes with gear plate thats nice and beefy with large bearings, i would start with radio/servos(replace as they fail), then pipe and carb. a good understanding of 2 stroke works will lessen "newbie" issues. FIRST thing! go through set screws give all a tweak the whole driveline ... gear plate to outdrives and your best friend ------->medium loctite on everything.

as throttle control and timing with unit improves , breaking stuff will(should) fade.

remember its a hobby, things break, and accelerated mass can be dangerous get a good kill switch!

and its all fun whether wrenching or rollin'

Do you have part #to these sleeves and kill switch? As far as Loctite, I always tear down any vehicle I get, and Loctite about everything and put back together.. Great advice!!

Great idea on supporting the advertisers. They are usually the best anyway.
Sorry. I couldn't really make out what the ads were all about on my phone. But I see now.

Can you purchase just the sleeves are do you need the cups and sleeves I am assuming you get at the same time when you purchase from 7075?

not sure they come with diff cups included?? its definitely the way to go for sure, for rough terrain it helps.

i use copper pipe, carbon fiber tubing is an option as well.
