I have a Rockslide RS10. When I turn the receiver on it is instantly running full throttle. I am guessing that the controler went TU on me. If I change controlers do I have to change receiver, esc, and servos? I was looking at the Futaba comtrolers. The current radio eqpt. is a LanSu 202R receiver and a LanSu 3YD digital, fm. Any information would be appreciated.

Well I finally found some real instructions on the "net" got the throttle figured out but now I can not get it to turn right. It goes left fine but will not turn right.

Ok so it turns left but not right I never had a rockcrawler but im thinkin your servo horn needs to be unscrewed and the steering trim needs to be centered and then set your servo horn and screw it to the servo maybe that helps

have to ask some questions...

what radio are you using?

does it just have trims for throttle and steering?

or does it have dual rate adjustment, and/or end point adjustment (EPA)

how did you fix the throttle. the trim was off?

The radio system is a LanSu 3channel digital fm. I did finally get everything working last night. I found that the stering trim had went from 8% to 95%. I finally stumbled around in the programing and corrected it. I can not believe how the instructions are written for this unit. Even an atomic scientist would get lost trying to follow them.
