I just picked up an FG monster jeep, ran good, a little rich but then it died and haven't been able to start it since. I have checked the plug and wire and tried adjusting the carb but nothing. It is a Zenoah G260RC1 engine with stock pipe

have you tried a new plug????????? what colour is the plug, should be a brown colour!

it may be runnin to rich and fouled the plug, try resetin the carb settings back to stock and put a new plug in.

checked the plug and has good spark, tried the factory settings and nothing. I am completely dumbfounded. Could it be a bad carb?

hrmm thats a strange one, I had a similar proplem when I first started breaking in mine?

What oil u running? I run Motul 800 factor line. It fouls plugs quickly if you don't go full throttle often enough. I change plug and it fired first pull,

Might be something worth trying.

sometme you'll get a good spark but if it's weak then under compresion it gets blown out bud, i'd still try a new plug b4 you start strippin things :)

Even though there is not even a hour of run time on it?

yeah bud it could have a dodgy plug fitted at the factory plus if they run rich and foul the plug you might as well bin the plug, i cleaned mine a million times when i first got my leopard as mine was runnin to rich in the end fitted new plug and reset to stock and it fired stright away :cool2:

while running in my FG MT I ran it for about 30 mins out of the box. didnt run it over 1/4 throttle. turned it off, went to start later in day, didnt start. changed the plug and it went first go.

change the plug and give it a try, once you start running harder this wont happen. after break in I haven't changed a plug once and ive gone through about 7 litres now.
