Looking good Mike....makes me want to get the car out on a track....I used to enjoy the racing....not much close to me though..
 
I might have a go when I ever get myself a good job again and have some spare cash..

I might have a go at racing one of these things...
 
Nice pics, how do you like your Nikon D70? I just got a D5100 a few weeks back, archived my D50 as a backup camera now.


Were you using autofocus or/and a tripod?

My mate was taking the photos - I was operating the race car.
He doesn't use a tripod or a massive lens but thats all I can tell you.....I can't even set a video to record.

Only 8th at the moment and I'm missing next round as it's my sons first birthday.
Had a bit of crap luck in the first round, finished 6th in the semi so didn't go up to the A final, second round got 6th i think in the A and has a poopy draw in the semi again swapping places and racing against the same guy throughout the race, it was a great race but you've got to be in the top 5 to get through and I wasn't.

Still doing allright tho mate, sounds like you had a hard but good race, mixing it up.

it's a good 3000 mile round trip plus accomodation, fuel, at least 10 pairs of tyres, new engine and beer money so I'm still looking for someone to share the costs and driving with me.
 
I know it's alot of money mate, I would love to do the Euros but money is the big issue really, I do too much at the nationals, normally around £300 including everything.

Can't see the track mate, I'm on my I phone with no flash player.
