i got one, and they drive awsome

but if you whant to bash it hard, then get a hpi baja, they can take alot more beating such as high jumps

I have to say after the collection of fgs and MCDs I agree, the MCD is a great chassis and design and A1 for racing but for general bashing (unless you look at the Blue Line MT) you are better off with something else.

Saying all that, I would not be without my MCD, I love it. I just wish the shells where not so expensive as I need a new one.

So my HPI 5b SS is more durable then the MCD Race Runner? I hate to hear this as for the price of the MCD you would think it would be at least as durable. I mostly race but I run your normal US tracks with jumps.

I was considering getting one but if what people are saying I be better off getting a Redcat. Sad!

ye mcd can take bashing hpi fg they all tend to break but my expierence with fg man they fly and kick ass as well as the hpi redcat is also a good setup or you could get your self a FS Racing 1/4 with a 35cc engine in it and they are a blast as are the above i mentioned
ok im blowing me own trumpet but may mates here have the redcat and fgs hpis and me ive got fg 1/6 mt4wd and fs 1/5 mt4wd with a 1/4 scale conversion kit and man it flys just as good as my fg
well let us all know which way you go

I have very little breakage on my HPI 5b SS and I mostly race on US style tacks that are know for there jumps. As far as durability I will up it up against anything else.
