Racing weight

Hey guys,
what sort of weight should I be aiming at for on road touring car racing. the sportsline is 8kg's the competition is closer to 10kg's all alloy?
both are the 465mm wheelbase the sportsline is all plastic bar shocks
any advice

Minimum allowed is 10kg.

Thats good then so I have to add ballast, Im guessing over the front axle

The stick on weights for wheel balancing are the most favoured method. When you're fighting for the 10th of a second, you can play with corner weights to see where is best to put them but for now it's best just to put them on the carbon side strips you fit between the body mounts.

Minimum allowed is 10kg.

is that with full tank of fuel,empty tank?

You'd measure it with worn tyres and an empty tank as the car would be at the end of the 30 min final.
