Radio Box Tidyness...

I’m looking at tidying my radio box up and wondered on a few things:

1) Has anybody ever shortened their servo/switch/etc leads to fit neatly and properly without loads of excess? I’ve been looking at a plug and pin set on eBay for just this reason... Any good?

2) if I wanted to Run a 7.4v Hump LiPo eventually with my Absima 6.6V RX, I can just buy a voltage regulator can’t I?

I have shortened plenty of leads on my helicopters to keep the wiring neat. I bought a crimper through MaxxProd, and get my ends through hobby king.
