So the radio box....what were they thinking?! Anyone else have trouble getting the lid to fit with the engine in such close proximity to the edge of the radio box? any mods out there?

I snapped my lid in half so that my battery is open......I hate my battery being covered and not accessable. I've done it on both of my redcats with no regrets

I think he's talking about the rear inner bolt being right underneath the carb. That bolt can be a pain if you don't have a ball allen. I usually pull my filter off so i don't have to go sideways to get to that screw.

Also, as far as accessing the battery. Have you guy thought about putting a charge port on the box? I have one that has a rubber plug to seal it when running. It's made for planes and works great for our application.

Yeah Demon,or use a battery like this.I found this on amazon and I leave the charging end sticking out of the box along with the servo wires.

I have the MT....yes Demon that is the one! and fitting it back on is such a pain sometimes! Zapped, I do have a DDM battery, but redcat seems to have a strange connector for their power switch so I'm stuck using the stock pack for now. Any ideas on a different connector?

True Count, What I did was,to get one of those battery holders for the nitro vehicles and took the connector off that and replaced the one on the pack with it.It is a direct fit to the redcat switch.
