So no luck with the redcat electronics, I just want to drive my xb. I have more working time than driving time. First the servos now the radio. Good thing I have the flysky gt3b already on the way. This xb reminds me of a jeep cherokee I use to have (work on it constantly). Im new to 1/5th scale are the hpi bajas this much of a pain in the a$$. Im eyeing the baja 5sc to have as a backup so I can have some driving time. Sorry for venting

Electronics failure is a common issue with all RTR's. I never used the stock electronics in my MT or my 5T, and I've never had an issue with either of them.

+1 Stock Servos are poop Go ahead and buy good stuff and save yourself llots the wrench time!! My Stock MT servos are holding good but im sure they can go any time

Maintenance is just part of owning a 5th scale. I've owned every major brand of 5th scale and not one is any better than the other. Name a vehicle and I can make a list of crap that's always breaking on it.

What makes a car better than the other is what you like to work on. What suits you the most? The Redcat MT/TT/XT/XB is the easiest vehicle to work on hands down followed by the MCD. FG's are pretty decent also. HPI is dead ass last in ease of maintenance.

Ask any 5B owner to show you how to pull a rear diff and notice the glazed over look in his eyes. That look is the look of a man thinking of 100 different tools he can use to dismember your body!

If you go with the baja, you'll get to know body clips really really, really well. They are a nice machine but a pain to wrench on. I pulled the motor on mine so many time I think I can do it with my eyes closed. The Redcat has really spoiled me.

Got the flysky in and everythings working good. Replaced servos previously. I wish that they wouldnt even Put this crap in there vehicles I would have rather bought it without the servos and rx and tx.
