ok today i was runing the rampage for about 30mins..and it took off hit a tree nothing broke but now my radio system wont work..i have the red light on the rx and the green and red lights on the tx..so whats going on can someone help me out

Did it take off on its own?

How hard ya the tree?

Im not sure what radio and rec your using but if you hit tree hard enough maybe something in rec broke loose? Can you or have you tried the rec/radio with other servos to see if it still works?

you running a kill switch? Maybe something with that?

another suggestion is check all your wires, maybe ya knocked something loose or is rubbing chassis?

These are just things id try...

it took off on its own but it wasnt fast just slow..i put other radio system in and it works..but when i put the stock redcat raceing radio system it powers on but wont move anything...i have rebind it manys of times still nothing...all the wires are fine..

I like the stock radio system but wouldnt recommend it for a gasoline rc. Id recommnd a 3ch 2.4 so you can use a killswitch. I think the stock 2.4 is more suited to electric 1/10 and 1/8 which is what I handed mine down to. Ive had at least 8 RXs and 6 TXs and never got a bad one. I like the stock system just w/2ch electrics.

Anyhow if you want the stock system they are sold worldwide under differnt labels (venom, redcat, etc). Hobbypartz.com has the tx,rx,and usb cord NIB for under $20 shipped USA. Thats the best deal Ive found.

yea..im runing a traxxas 27mhz now..but i don't have the money for a new 400 dollor radio system..i would like to get a dx3 radio system for it..but untill i get the money it will have to do

Good digital radios can be less then $125 for a 3channel if you shop around. I wouldnt get the airtronics sport even though its great the 3rd channel is inconvenient so I chose the mx airtronics 2.4 fhss2 $125 new (can be found even cheaper used). $99 seems steep for a knobby non digital to me so I have not even been tempted to tried it even though people recommend it.

its a really nice radio 1000 times better than stock.....doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the more expensive ones do but its got everthing you'll need for the rampage

both as far as i know....the diff is the v1 killer be can be activated via the 3rd channel on the radio......the v2 u shut the transmitter off and it kills the engine
