I've got a KC racing one just like the one trebor showed you, but in matt black. I don't use it as i decided to get one custom made instead.

it's only missing the two chassis to plate uprights if you want it (it's got all of the fiddly little uprights and bolts for mounting the master cylinders on and battery strap) PM me and it's yours for £5 posted.

i always use multiplex and futaba servos :D

K....

thanks trebor

thats just the job, your servos are the same size as mine, but i thought that bigger ones would be better, but if the size you have work so will mine

thanks again

phil

Those futaba servos are the dogs nuts, I've tried savox, ace and hitec but tbh I think they're crap and always go back to futaba bacause they're reliable, powerfull and I've never had an issue with them in 8 years of racing. I started with the 9402 analogue, 9350 digi, 9351 digi and now I'm on BLS 351 for my front brake & throttle/rear brake. The tonegowa was the best large scale steering servo known to man but now I just use 2 rhinos, you can't beat them.

Hi Mike,
I don't doubt your experience, judging by your posts, but I've had several Savox 1256TG servos and have NEVER had one problem.
I use them for throttle/brake on both of my FG's, and for steering on my 'E-Maxx'.

Fair comment, maybe I'm just too expectant or paranoid about using cheaper servos.

phil ......if you do use the KCR alloy tray :)

you will find a standard 6v battery will not fit :(

and also the FG radio box wont bolt straight on :D

using a cheaper futaba servo on the hyd brakes is not a good idea

i went a little over the top with these ones at £90 each...but there was'nt any better at the time

Phil they are a standard FG part number 5014/3for the futaba/jr:)

and 5014/1 if you use the multiplex power servos :D

they come in packs of 2....................

if you have the alloy KCR plate and decide to fit a standard size 6 volt battery

you will need some thing like these

Brawns picture is showing the battery strap the wrong way up as the battery

should be under the plate, so as to be able to fit the radio box where it is

K....

get them from rossendale models .......im not sure if i have any left :)

as i do remember selling a couple on ebay a while back i will have to look

K....

thanks for your help,i think i've been a pain.

thanks ........phil

when/if I can find them, I'll post some pics for the radio trays I made A because I'm too tight to buy stuff and B I enjoyed doing it.

Mike

Here they are, the last 2 are from an old Leopard.

ditto, the KCR plate is excelent, but when I saw that I needed to buy servo raisers as well I nearly had a heart attack (I'm from yorkshire you see). So I spent about half a day measuring the standard tray, drawing it on CAD, and searching form a company to laser cut one for me. hence why I have a spare KCR plate knocking about

Or you could have cut one out of some 3mm alloy plate with a jigsaw and file, a radio plate custom made for £1.00, thats cheap even for a yorkshireman lol
