Rally gear breaks apart

I have a Redcat Rally that I use for topspeed runs. My gears are 33/27 and 31/19. After (3) passes the #19 always breaks apart, not melts, not stripes out, but breaks apart in pieces. This happened (4) different times. Has anyone else had this problem? It is a plastic gear otherwise it would get a steel one. None of the other gears are ever effected. Any info, please?

Have you tired the MCD gears. They seem to hold up better.
