just got my MT and the body doesn't fit. the back goes in but i have to squeeze the front bracket inward to line it up and the pins wont go in. the side also doesn't fit next to the clear gear cover, i have to flex it over it. this is all pretty minor but has anyone else had this problem. not sure if im going to mod the bracket or the body to make it fit and get the front pins in. :eek: happy to hear anyones thoughts about it.
 
My holes line up perfectly, but the side bulges from the gears. Your body posts might have gotten bent somehow from shiping too.
 
Mine came exactly that way. The plastic body posts need to be bent to fit the holes. Once you do so they will stay that way. I think they get out of place durring packaging and shipping. The body will slide on and off easier. The bottem of the bodies do rub the gear cover. Put a piece of foam tape on the inside of the body where it touches the gear cover. That will keep it from rubbing the paint off. You could also just remove the gear cover as well. Looks cool without it. I have a couple of mt bodies and they are all the same.
 
thanks for all the advice. ill try to bend them inward. i already dremeled the exhaust hole like a half moon on the tailgate and also a little bit on the gear cover. looks pretty good, looks stock. least til i can afford to get a new exhaust
