Is there a plastic film on these clear bodies. It sure looks like there is. But cant get it started to come off.
 
I thought for sure there was too! It sure as heck looks like it! but after struggling with it for I don't know how long I finally decided there must not be one on it.
 
Yep, it's an overspray film. You can peel up an edge with an X-acto blade or put a piece of tape on it and yank it off, that should get it started.
 
It kind of looks like its bubbled a bit. Over the whole body. Only when you hold it at a certain angle it shows.
 
It's film. Normally only on the outside.

Don't peel it off until after your done painting.
 
Man I don't know. I'll have to check mine again when I get home. Like I said it sure looked like there was but after scratching it with a knife I couldn't get anything to come up. I sure hope there ain't one on the inside because I already painted mine lol!
 
Ya mine sure looks like its on the inside. Guess if it is on the inside then it was a good practice paint job. Lol.

Lol! I think what it might be is water marks. Maybe from some fluid that they spray on the die to keep it from sticking.
 
Sometimes there is some release agent left behind from the mold. That is why it is important to thoroughly wash the inside before you paint.
