I'm only getting 35mph, does that sound right for this engine? And yes I'm thinking of jet pro pipe or CPI pipe....

That's about right, the 320 is not a high RPM motor and the MT is geared down.

One of the reasons I prefer lower cc engines. You will climb over everything w such engine and gearing.

I see the truck handle as a utv, power/torque in the low mid range, and randomly full wot passes.

If you want to drive it as a dirt bike then buy a baja 5b. The truck performs as its suppose to, and easy w the clutch.
