it looks like you got it set up for that track pretty well. low-n-stiff.. nobody runs that track? what in the hairy!! i should probly set one of my rigs up for the go-kart ovel we have in town..

I will post more video later, of myself thrashing the Rampage on the other track 12 foot wide lanes, lots of jumps, a rythm section....ectShe took a beating.....☺ We also have a huge bash area.....but no one ever comes out....

Hey you were doing good for some laps in the beginning. Some people watch and can't tell how difficult it is to keep these things tracking. And they're "slow" that's why you jumped back into the track with a blip of the throttle! I think those MT tires need to be modded to really get some performance out of them, mine are ok in soft sand and mud and my Excavators are like slicks. Oh yeah, I caught the JP hanging out the side :D

As promissed here is a video of the restof our track, we just redesigned it and lets just say the Rampage didnt like the changes. It used to be a fast track, now it full of bumps and jumps very tecnical. I'm sure i will master it yet i'm there every weekend. Bashed all day and only broke one dogbone !!

It looks real good overall. Might help if you keep running there to go up on the oil viscosity for the rear shocks to reduce the bouncing and maybe gear down to next possible gear to keep RPM up in corner.

I was thinking of reducing the oil wt. right now i'm running 35wt all around with bajampage shocks open to the largest hole. I was going to try 20wt with the same hole. Alot of the bouncing in the rear is chassis flex. The 35 wt oil is not letting the springs absorb the bounce.....I think?? Does this make sence? Also running 25/35 with hpi baja ss clutch (7500)rmp. Was thinking of installing the elcon set for about 6000Rpm??

thats only 35wt oils? why does it look so stiff? is it hydro locked or something.

man.. just watched that last vid.. i cant get over how great that track is!!

great track...

your rampage looks like it does'nt have enough travel, it can't absorb your landings, not sure on the oil, i would'nt think lighter oil though, i run 40 wt. just my opinion though... :)

suspension work is a lot of trial and error, just keep trying differant set ups.

your truck and track look great, nice job. :D

The ride height is maybe 1/4 inch lower with the Bajampage shocks being slightly shorter. Also i'm using the ramtech 20% stronger springs. I think that it is bouncing on the tires as well as chassis flex. So what i did was went with 20 wt hpi oil and no preload in the rear, (there was about 1/2 inch) I will see where that gets me, and go from there i guess. It also looks really low because i slammed the body right down.....☻
