The bottom part of the stand came from a work light at Lowes. I build the tool tray and the top plate the truck sits on.

You still have access to all the screws in the chassis and a place for parts and tools.

Damn dude that stand is awesome! I wish I had one like that for th redcats. You could make those and sell them

Thanks guys I also got some thin foam to put on chassis plate just for protection. I'm going to try and get it painted tomorrow if weather permits and yall can see the final project. Take any part of this idea you want I will warn you it takes a little work I hand drilled all those holes. I burned up my Craftsman drill.

Ok I got both pieces painted and the foam installed. The foam on top is glued down but I did not glue the foam on tool tray that way if it get's dirty I can change it.

I decided to add a racing stripe of yellow on the tool tray with black foam on each end.

Alright guys just an update on the stand the MT is so heavy that I had to tighten the nuts for the adjustment down and they are plastic so one broke. I guess I will have to build my own bottom section. I thought I would let yall know before anyone tried using the light stand.
