i just did the truggy conversion on my tt using an old mt shell and stock wing mount, and it looks "WILD". pretty damn quick too. i ran this hill/jump for about 2 tanks and had many bad spills between yesterday and today. something was bound to break, just a stearing mount, but i lost the dog-bone in the grass. had the mt out too, but the tt is just way more fun..

the tt is alot of fun. 4wd is just point and shoot. the hole rig is stock. just added a pipe and it rips.. and good marketing skills you have.. im getting better at driving and filming at the same time. kinda hard looking thru a 1.5" screen with out crashing... oh wait a minute.. i did crash.lol,,

Not trying to be a smartass, but if the rampage has a tendency of throwing dogbones, could you paint them florescent orange or put a bright piece of fuel tubing over them? It could make them easier to find in the grass...

Trip..

i was thinking about that today at work. im going to tape off the ends and paint them with stove paint so it don't chip right away. i wouldnt mind if the break, but replacing parts that are just fine gets anoying

Looking good, but the engine seems a bit flat on pick-up, were you still tuning it? :)
i have it geared pretty high for top end. (31/29) im getting better at using the pipe. if you throttle jockey it the pipe will open up sooner. if i swap the gears around it flat lines way too quick. im also going to give my 813 another try.

Can you use the rubber ball drive boots, as they would hold them in with zip ties?

Just a thought...

The more I watch your vids Krypto, the more amazed I become... How the hell do you run your truck, record the video and on top of it, keep the truck in the frame?!? I watch my attempts at recording a video, I'm not even running the truck in mine and I keep catching myself watching the truck instead of the camera screen!!

My hat is off to you sir!!

Trip..

i kinda cheat trip. its still hard to keep it in the frame and i also do ALOT of editing. as you can see i use my flip cam with an action mount double sided to the top of the radio. i feel like a magition giving away the secret. you can pick the mount up at walmart or order it. it was $12.00.. if you have a trypod mount on the bottom of your new cam it will work.

Awesome idea. I tried to have my 3 year old record once, he kept recording his feet. I may have to pick up that mount at walmart.

That truggy is awesome!

I have no idea how to edit any vids! lol ...All I do is hope for the best and punish you guys with the end result! I wish I knew how to edit, that would be great! Thanks for the tip, but all good magicians SHOULD reveal their secrets at some point...

Trip..

You video is great. I like the pipe. Like a man that knows just when to get off the gas before the landing.
I kept looking at the basket ball poles thinking to myself please don't hit one.
Instead I got to hear one of my own famous lines when you landed on the arm.
