hi guys has any one tried the rb hyper charger on the dr yet looking into maybe getting one or shall i go with something els recommendations more than welcome

The tgn dt1 is a great filter looks kinda weird but it works. I had thought about getting the rb one but just decided against it cause I heard so many great things about the tgn one

I've never seen one on a DR. They look cool but there are better options for filtration.

x2 for dt1. if you get the prefilter too then the single flow or double flow is good enough. if no prefilter prolly wanna go with the triple flow. prefilter will keep the filter cleaner longer & thus keep the filter at peak operating status longer. you can clean it but if you keep it clean then there is no need to wash the filter if you get what i'm saying. ;)

It clears my linkages in my xb And in my brothers dr great

yes, i run the dt1 filters myself. i became really tired of having to use gas to clean foam filters. most of the time, i use no-toil oil with the cleaner. wash it with the supplied soap and water. i think this no-toil oil is made from some sorta highly modded animal fat. yep, sounds weird but i betca thats what it is. when it becomes super dry- talcum powered dust conditions, i sometimes use maxama fft filter oil. this requires gas to clean. some people that use the no-toil product use the washing machine to clean the filters. i would not reccomend this myself. best clean by hand.

yup-- thats what is on the no-toil website instructions. LOL! If i guy is marrried, this could cause a mild domestic dispute. Also be sorta rough on the washing machine pump, and not really conductive to the life of the dt1. it would eventually tear the foam-rubber connection. Yea, after 45+ years of dirt bikes- heres the drill for any foam filter- any type of oil. get a baggie, put the dt1 in - pour about -at least 1/2 cup of oil right inside the filter. work the oil around quickly fefore the solvent evaporates and the oil starts tacking up-- get the ol ladys best white lint free cotton towel- and try to remove every bit of the oil out of the filter, paying close attention the the filter boot-foam junction area- it is impossable to remove too much oil, keep working the what used to be a nice bath towel until no more trace of oil can be tacked onto it.- let the filter set about 1/2 hour- then its ready to dirty it up. this does not take long with a 4wd. yes, you say 1/2 cup of oil for a little dt1? absolutly.- soak it.
