im planning on getting a baja 5sc ss, and i want to prepare before i getit what all to have ahead of time, killer bee and outerwears etc., just curious if anyone has used this or if its a good idea? i like that it covers the crank from sucking in grass and such, but would this interfere with cooling?

thanks for advice

To me it looks way over egineered and heavy for the job it has to do.

I would stick with the crank and pullstarter filters from outerwear just my opinion

A good way to over heat your engine!

Regular maintenance and maybe a pull start cover is by far the best way to deal with grass. You can have your engine out, stripped, cleaned and back in within half an hour.

i disagree with both i been using them over 6 months and have no over heating issues, and the actual parts are not heavy at all,
the filter comes off with 2 screws for maintence, works just fine and i can say that since i use them.
there are socks for the filters also that i use that ddm special orders
