That's going to be sweet! It is a fat one for sure! :D

Can't wait to see it anodized and with side guards. It's going to be a bath tub. LOL

I might have to switch to a side pipe under the body. There will be plenty of room.

Nice! I guess its for RCdad's fat chassis that he wanted :D

I really like those lower arms you are fabricating on the top left of the picture doug. Are those mine? :D

Correctomondo....It is also longer. I want to mount the V4-G Evo2 body. :)
Cool! A favor, once you get the evo 2 bidy i would really like to see it on your xb. Maybe u can give me dimensions width and length wise. I wanna check if it fits the xb; i might get one to tweak and trim it.

It's larger. That's the reason for the chassis. This chassis will also allow fitment of the SC-G body.

I have the bodies in stock. The chassis was made to the dimensions of the body. You can see here the body is much wider as well as longer.

Do you see any possibility of running it with enough trimming? I don't care about the width as ling as its not touching the tires.

My only cincern is cutting it from its length without affecting performance or blocking air flow.

I will do a build thread once I get the chassis and new suspension arms from 7075RC. All of the factory parts will fit. The only new parts required, is the use of 2 MT dogbones for the extended length.

I am wondering if you can integrate a dual steering servo on that chassis

Honestly, one good single unit is a better option. Throw in a good HV servo and you'll have more than enough steering power.

Ok now I am really jealous!!!!!!!!! :D Can't wait to see this one! Good luck on the build.

I plan on keeping my current OBR 27.2 FMLR for now. Some time in the future it might get the 30.5 reed that's in the 5ive. In the future the 5ive will see on of the big bore engines.

No for wheel extenders. It currently has the RAMTech adapters which widen the track width about an inch.

The benefit of wider buggy bodies is to prevent hooking wheels with other open wheeled vehicles.

Nice, what pipe do you plan on running in the future with the 30.5 Reed on redcat?
