I just put a Tamiya Fox re-release on backorder at Tower Hobbies a couple of days ago (one of my first ever RC cars) then stumbled upon this!

RC10 Classic

I didn't think the day would ever come. There goes another $250

Rc 10 was my first. I still have the box!
Very cool! I wish I still had some of my stuff from back in the good 'ol days: Tamiya Grasshopper(s), Tamiya Fox, RC10, Losi JRx2, Tamiya Falcon (featured on the cover of RC Car Action magazine), Marui Big Bear etc etc.

I've already started to modify the fox and I don't have it yet. Reproduction decals from the U.K. and and alloy wheels from Hong Kong. eBay comes in very handy.

Very first hobby grade RC was a Sand Scorcher. When the rerelease came out I bought one and did it up in box art form and keep it on a shelf.

My first was also a Rough Rider, the Blackfoot, also had a Wild Willy.

My brother and I went rounds on who was going to get the 1987 bada$$ first... total disappointment on his face when the all mighty lunchbox handed to me for my B-day

I've just been blessed with a new born son. So what did I do to decorate his nursery? A little rc collection of his own. He's not alowedView attachment 6629 to play with them. Ever.

My 1st was a Holiday buggy. I remember the driver had a cowboy hat on and the gearbox was open, no cover at all. That lasted about a week and I ended up with a Sand Scorcher.
