Hi, looking for a project here soon and i want to so either a baja build or a kraken trophy truck either or will run a rcmax engine, curious as to what baja to pick up for this i seen rovan and king motor baja for a platform i cant really find a decent priced hpi baja to start off with everyone wants gold i bought a hybrid off of john loving it just want something a project for the rest of summer and over winter if anyone has leads on a built roller for a decent price im open to check them out

Was thinking of this, for a base or should i go cheaper? It comes with quiet a bit for what it is arms are extended already etc or should i just buy the cheapest baja i can get and go from there?

Your gunna end up throwing all that away, none of that chinesium can handle a rcmax. And refer to me and Doug's previous statements
 
So buy the cheapest baja i can get? Lol what about the kraken platform my 50gt will end up in whatever i build and ill probably throw the new rcmax diablo engine in my hybrid talked to mike got prices and im going that route with my hybrid
 
Kraken will need a lot of upgrades but it can be done. Im not well versed on the krakens so someone else will chime in on that.
As for baja, like I said ,just start from the ground up and just build a whole baja out ok f the aftermarket upgrades instead of starting with something and upgrading it, becuase it will be a wasted effort (there might be like 3 rovan parts on it when all said and done ).
