Sup guys,

Would be fun to have a running thread on rc's you wish you have never sold. Could be an old one or something new.

For me it was an OG White Hpi Baja 5T and I just found one this week in immaculate condition.

It's was the first large scale 1/5 scale RC I got back the days when it was release.

Show me pics of your's and story :)

Oh man, where to start. Lol

FG monster beetle is my number one regret.

A full billet aluminum Fast Lane machine brushless Traxxas stampede build. Wide and long. 1/8th scale when finished.

Traxxas Nitro vette.

Hobby lobby Hunter 1/8th nitro buggy.

Kyosho twin force and nitro mad force.New Image2.webpPicture 005.webpPicture 004.webpnstrmain.webpPicture 001.webpDSCF1753.webp

Ohhh. They are nice rigs for sure. I'd take the beetle FG anytime 🥵

They were as sturdy as an anvil compared the my traxxas monster buggy lol. If I looked at that sideways it broke a front arm.

I’ve got a list of rc cars that I wished I hadn’t sold over the years.
Ranging from :-
worlds edition yokomo yr4
Losi XX4 buggy
FG Monster Truck
MCD rally

Of them all the one that was the most fun and drove like a scaled down car rather than a rc car was the MCD rally. But it was just so expensive to keep in tyres if driven as it should be.

Nice you got a picture of your old FG MT ?

No pictures but more than I can count.

Some notable ones are my FG Evo and several sports lines. An og tmaxx. My custom tlt tuber. Tc5. An old serpent that past my hands I never got a chance to drive. Micro rs4. Tamiya hotshot.

I've had an aching for a other 2wd touring car lately. I don't know that I want to put Evo money in on one because it's going to be for blasting and fun

Too many RC's to list, so I'll keep it in realm of the forum and stick to large scale.....

I've had a few come and go, but the one that kinda kills me was an HPI Baja SS kit from when they first came out. I put a LOT of time and money into the build, with the intent of making a sweet Baja Bug... something not dissimilar to some of the FG Beetles, but more modern and better handling. I spent over a year gather parts and tinkering with it as the build came together.... I think it was a 30.5cc engine I dropped in.... semi-custon tuned pipe with a scale out-the-back exhaust, ProLine Baja Bug body, front disc brakes, a handful of alloy upgrades, functional lights....

It was sweet.

But I never finished it.... I got burned out on the built and never even painted it. I was falling out-of-love with gas engines at the time, and wasn't running my MCD RaceRunner as much as I used to, and one day I decided to just sell the Bug. I took a HUGE loss on it... sure hoped the guy who bought it loved the heck out of it.

Worst part is that I don't even really have any pictures of it....

:(

They are all rigs I would have build too. I just bought an old v3 mcd race runner yesterday that I want to restore along with a V3 mcd monster truck IMG_20251027_170244.webp

Thats an odd pipe on that one , never saw one that wraps under the back like that.

But the thing I really notice is the $41.99 sticker on that case of Bud Light. LOL........and you thought the hobby was expensive. Nope; it is the beer cost during the build that really adds up.
