just curious of overall quality/durability of this pipe...performance as well? its a little cheaper and from what i have heard quieter...or if you have any other suggestions i would appreciate it alot! thank you!
 
a cheap pipe is only cheap when you get it,if it turns out crap and youve got replace it then add that to the cost of a replacement good pipe its just throwing cash away.one of my mates brought a fasttrax pipe for a marder it was shocking made of tin foil and only lasted a couple of months abuse and broke in half and got thrown away,i felt sick when i paid 160 odd euros for my vrc pipe but looking back it was worth every pennie and still looks like it did some 2 years on with a few marks and odd little dnt where stones have flicked up and hit it
 
they make one for large scale as well, i saw them on youtube on a baja 5b, but sound quality is not the best, and don't know what performance/or durability is from a video...and yes i agree sometimes $200 once is better than $100 3 times...appreciate the advice! i guess my main goal i hate to say is quiet due to unhappy neighbors, buuuuut i don't wanna give up all performance ya know...thanks again!

if you want quiet dude the FG pipe is one of the quietest! im using one atm good all round performance & quiet, don't know about mounting it to a HPI though?
 
i really should mention too that i haven't even got my 1/5th scale yet! trying to get every single bit of knowledge ahead of time! planning on a km baja mostly because of cheaper price tag, but also thinking about redcat rampage, both take different exhaust!!! just trying to learn as much as possible to help guide my decision...every bit of advice and help is greatly appreciated!! i thank you all very much!
 
Had 1 of them and it strangled the life out of my baja, nice and quite compared so the others out there but no top end what so ever..
