the best dogbones out there are k,m ones i,ve never twisted one yet. the skid plates are a good idea tho,baja chassis bend very easy at the front were it kicks up, i made my own one from 3mm steel .

I got k,m so I'll see what happens. It was my own fault the others snapped the rx battery was flat I blipped the throttle and went to brake and it squeezed itself under a gate and I think that's what did it. Yu live & learn haa haa:lol:
 
if you ever do have to change out bones get the dark soul ones, i still have my originals with only one tank run on them, and then when upgrading stuff i went with new hostile black boots and dark soul bones. thing i like bout the DS bones is the replaceable cross pins if they break, and i ordered a set of spare pins, which are in the field box.

thats my next upgrade lan..been looking for a while at brands of bones,and dark soul seem the way to go.
 
theres the phatdad ones around too, but i really liked the meatybones DS set, it'll take alot to ever break a set of them, only thing that should ever break will be the cross pins, and thats why theyre replaceable
 
If I had the cash I would by the constant velocity type with the 3 bearings in the end. I can't remember who make them but they look good with a good design. The price was about £140 so unless I win the lotto I'll havto pass lol
