Does anyone have the same problem as me? I was tearing down for the pre-run and as I was putting everything back together I was stripping the heads of the screws with very little effort. I thought maybe it was the allen keys that came with my kit so I swapped them out with some good steel ones and still the same crap. Anyone got a good way of getting stripped screws out?

Take a dremmel and make a groove across the screw to fit a flat head screw driver in and screw should come out. As for stripping screws you should get your self some good allen key drivers. Using allen key "L" shape wrenches you some times get the allen key in a bad angle causing a strip.

Thanks for the help. I might just have to look into a stainless set for my ramp once I get these out.
Don't go stainless they are just as bad for rounding off

try using a spline driver to remove the rounded off hex screw or try some tin foil over your hex driver.

if still no luck then heat the screw with a soldering iron then try it.

I know alot of guys don't like stainless but I do. I have a nice precision hex set and the only time I strip a screw is when the locktight makes it really hard to get them out. Another advantage of stainless is that you don't have to worry about rust inside the hex slot after you've hosed your car off. I just WD-40 my driveshafts and linkages and don't even bother with water sitting inside those hex slots anymore.

I myself like my stainless ones. And you can pickup a set of dynamite hex drivers from lhs and work awesome they accurately fit the redcat screws perfect
