Rear alloy shock tower.....

I noticed the other day that my rear plastic shock tower is bent where the shocks fix on. Its not a problem at the moment as all still works ok but another big off & my shocks may start catching on the top arms especially now I have fitted balloon springs.
Im going to make an ally tower but want to know what thickness to do it out of. Will 6mm be enough or should I go for 8mm or 10mm??

I think 6mm thickness will be more than enough.

the alloy elcon shock towers are 8mm as is the FG one

Thanks Trebor. I thought 6mm was a tad thin. Might go 10mm anyway to compensate for my bad driving :2guns:
