I've been getting fed up with the slop that keeps developing between the rear arm pivot pins, and the rear alloy plate they fit into, which translates into a lot of "for and aft" movement at the rear wheel.
The pin seems to wear fairly quick, and the hole seems to ovalise quite quick too causing a really sloppy fit between the two.
So i removed the plate and drilled the holes out to 10mm. I fitted into these holes some bearings I found on Ebay (6x10x3mm flanged, £5 for 5) with the flange fitted in board (next to the arm). As the pivot pin is 6mm diameter, it is a perfect fit inside the bearing.
Once everything is back in place, a 6mm washer fitted onto the pin before the E clip makes things nice and neat !!
All the slop is gone and the arm is now running on bearings! Very pleased !
