Hi Folks

Does anyone know if you can run double rear disc's on the standard arrangement so you get pad, disc, pad, disc, pad and does this improve the braking?

Also

What type of disc's are the best as I have seen metal and epoxy ?

Any help info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers in advance

Daz;)

use the metal disc and the right pads it stops the problem also if you have the plastic radio tray it flexes on the servo so u don't really get proper brakinng until you swap the plastic one for an alloy one and also look at the collet at the end of the brake linkage as i have had to put a bit of tube on there to get it to brake also in the past

Fitted a new epoxy brake disc and hopefully will try it out tonight if it stays dry ;)

Elcon makes what looks like a very good brake improvement package. Its not cheap, but looks like it would work much better. I can't afford it, but maybe in the future

throw the epoxy disc away :lol: they are crap

fg do a large steel disc tuning rear brake

as for the plastic servo tray you can get away with fixing another leg

under the front of the tray down onto the chassis this will stop the flex

try some cable front brakes it will work a treat:)

look close and you can see the extra alloy leg
