Hello everyone. To remove the rear end of a KM t1000 with the 30.5 fuelie. I basically I have to take the entire rear off correct? I been searching for anything on Google and here or YouTube and nothing comes up. I saw a clip on a HPI buggy and it was simple he just removed the bumper and bulk head and out came the diffs. Our Km truck is not built like this. Looks like everything has to come out, the gear assembly rear supports exhaust and up goes the diffs. Please can anyone guide me to a good video clip that I can follow this project? My plans is to refill the diff oil. Thank you

All back together. But now there's a gap. Is this normal? I've taken it apart 3 times to check if there's something in between or not in order but with no luck found nothing. Everything seems ok. It rolls freely. Should I be worry?

Im glad to see you`ve used threadlock. Having a bash sunday and one of my diff screws worked loose and cut a pefectly round hole in the side of the gearbox case lol. Im sort of glad I did`nt have an ally case as who knows what damage that would of caused.

Yea the diff case has to be red thread locked according to HPI's manual. Well now you know. Few thing I'm worried about is the washer that goes under the bevel gear. I should of sand that down. I hear is a one way washer and if not installed right it can create friction and I didn't change the rubber seals. Hope it last 2-3 tanks. That's about the amount of time I use the buggy every summer. Then I'll take everything apart and fix stuff during the winter.

And for whom ever is reading and are planning on changing the diff oil. ITS A MUST!!! Oil has to be half way (50%) in you diff. Mine was (10%) with no leaks when I got it brand new. Practically nothing on it. And I only used it one summer 2-3 tanks.
