Hey guys I got my dune runner in the mail today and Tom my ddm rear mount dominator will be here. I really would like to see pics of what has to be done to make it fit right without choppin the cage to much .pictures would be nice or just some input. Please post your pics!!!!

I could've sworn I saw a thread that showed a Dunerunner with the DDM pipe, but I can't find it. If I remember correctly you just need to Dremel some of the cage supports so the pipe doesn't touch. You might need to raise the wing, as well. But that's easily done with some plastic spacers.

Alright will see what I can do it helps knowing before I start!!! You sure are a big help. Helped me with my mt alot

I was browsing ddm and found roll cage extenders for the Baja it attatches to the rear cage mounts and lifts it up.it says its for aftermarket pipes. Think it would help

Ya thats it ! No pipes comin Tom damn FedEx let me down. I will let ya know I just don't wanna hack at the cage. When I do stuff I like doin it right.

I will do later today! I realized something on this dune runner. The center diff isn't meshed up properly with the First one way shaft. Idk how to shim diffs really or even where to put the shims. I could use some serious help with this. I got it torn apart now and tryin to figure this damn thing out

Is the center diff gear tight? It has four lock nuts holding it into place. If it's loose, it'll throw off the gear mesh.

Also, are you sure it's not one of the gears on the gear plate? If that center shaft with the two gears on it is too tight, it'll bind. If that's the case, loosen that lock nut up a bit and see if that helps.

Last idea. It could be the lay shaft itself that's crooked. Loosen up the set screws on the brake hub and pull the shafts out. Their could be a burr inside the brake hub that's causing an alignment issue.

so ya it didnt work the way i want it to so I am ordering the modified rc modified v1 rear bumper with the roll cage risers cuz i found then cheaper. I am thinkin that the rear bumper should hook right up. If not I where I work I get aluminum sheets basically free so I will figure it out.

Goin to take a little metal off the inside of the shock tower so the pipe sits lower and everything will be good

soo I got the cage risers on and the pipe in just need to fasten the bracket on the pipe to the frame. It has been bugging me cause I want to do it right. Today I am goin to the hardware and picking up a piece of steel and going to make a bracket from the frame to the pipe its like 2-3 inches so not much. I probably could bend the bracket on the pipe but I do not want to break or mess up anything
