Rear Reinforcment Posts

I broke screws off in post underneath the reinforcement plate in the rear of my MT in pic on left hand side is the post off my truck on the right is a buffer post that redcat is saying is the replacement. There is a big difference in size!!! Anyone know where can get some thick posts that will work? I am afraid to use the thinner one cause its suppose to reinforce my rear end but they look weak

I used some 3/8 aluminum round bar from home depot. Drilled and tapped the ends and it's good to go.

I was at Redcat for lunch today and couldn't find an answer. Have you tried to dremel a slot in the screw thats left and turn it out?

I will do some more research tonight.
