Rear Shock Tower

Sorry no pics. But I have a question about the rear shock tower on the MT. I bent the S$%T outta mine. I have a replacement but their are I guess 2 spacer's that hold the upper R.Arm to the shock tower. I can't get those things out of the bent shock tower to put them in the new one. Anyone got any advice???

I looked at mine, just briefly. It looks like they are just held in by a c clip. When I get more time I will tear mine down and see what gives.
 
yeah you guys are right on that c-clip I should have mentioned I had those off,lol. But yeah Moo they are stuck in there real good. I even took a hammer to it and no luck. Im going to keep trying and see what happends maybe i'll try a lil oil.
 
With the c-clip off and a good whack with the hammer is should come out. Make sure you are hitting it on the side that had the c-clip, the other side has a lip on it and it will not go through the hole. If all else fails cut the tower to remove the spacer I am sure I can hook you up with another shock tower. ;)
