I am very new to the 5b. My factory stock rear tires are shot and sliding in grass. I am looking to see what the pros are using for the rear. I don't race but will be doing a little be of everything as for terrain. I guess grass, dirt, and road mostly. Can I get some thoughts on a good pair of tires for this? Thanks.
 
I was looking at those from what I found here and google. Will the hard compound be ok on pavement?

Also, I am trying to find a good quality front cable disc brake kit. The ones I found are not showing for sale any longer. Any suggestions?
 
Don't buy the Hostile Nightmares if you plan on running on road much (can't beat them offroad, though)...they won't last long at all. You would be better off with the all-terrains or a pure on road tire.
